Terms and conditions

The kids.iuli.dev website presents coding courses for children and projects made during educational activities. The information is for presentation purposes; enrollment, schedule, place availability and specific conditions are confirmed directly by phone, email or WhatsApp.

Use of content

The texts, visual identity, materials and website structure may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Children’s projects are shown only for educational and portfolio purposes.

External links

The website contains links to published projects and external services. Each external service operates under its own terms and policies.

Data processed

The website has no public enrollment form. When you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we may process your name, contact details and information you voluntarily provide in order to reply and organise the course. The private catalogue separately uses the full name and code for authentication as described in its dedicated section, and catalogue data is not sent to Google Analytics.

Purpose, legal basis and storage

Data is used for communication, providing requested information and pre-contractual steps. It is kept only as long as needed for these purposes or applicable legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.

Cookie policy

In its current version, kids.iuli.dev does not use its own analytics, advertising or profiling modules and does not set marketing cookies.

External services

Fonts are served locally by the theme, without requests to Google Fonts. Links to WhatsApp, published projects, ANPC or other services lead to separate websites operating under their own policies.

Future changes

If analytics or marketing services are added, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be shown before they are enabled.

“Learn online” packs

Delivery and access

These packs contain digital self-study materials, with no live lessons included. The total price and any applicable taxes are shown before the order is placed. After payment is confirmed, course and resource access is activated automatically in the purchaser’s account. Order confirmation and access instructions are sent automatically to the supplied email address. Pending, failed or cancelled payments do not activate access. If the email is missing, check Spam and your account, then contact support.

Downloaded materials may be kept for personal use. Children study at their own pace. Projects require Scratch 3 in a compatible browser or the Scratch desktop application. The purchase account and email are managed by a parent or legal representative; no child details are required. We do not promise unlimited online service availability; any closure will be announced so materials can be saved.

Personal licence

The purchase grants personal use and the right to keep a copy. Copyright is not transferred. Supplied documentation and resources may not be redistributed, published as a pack, resold or used for commercial teaching without permission from the rights holder. Purchasers may create and present their own projects made during the course.

Withdrawal and conformity

For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal exception applies only when supply has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent, the consumer has acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, and the trader has supplied confirmation of the contract and these consents on a durable medium, under Article 16(m) and Article 8(7) of Romanian Emergency Ordinance 34/2014. The two consents are separate and are not preselected. If these conditions are not met, statutory withdrawal rights apply; payment alone does not remove this right.

This exception does not affect statutory rights for non-conforming digital content, including remedies, price reduction or termination under Emergency Ordinance 141/2021. Contact the trader with your order number for access, delivery or conformity issues.

Purchaser data

WooCommerce processes account, contact, billing and order data for the contract, delivery, support and statutory accounting obligations. The selected payment provider processes payment details under its own terms; this site does not store full card numbers. Data is retained as needed for these purposes and applicable legal periods. Order data is not entered in the children’s private catalog. Personal data rights and contact details are also described in the site privacy policy.

Private progress catalogue

The catalogue may contain the child’s full name, group, level, an optional avatar, progress, notes and badges. Data is used to provide the educational activity and inform the child/parent, on the basis of the contract or requested pre-contractual steps and the legitimate interest in securing and organising the service. Public authentication continues to verify the code through an irreversible hash. For newly set codes, a separate authenticated encrypted copy is retained and can be revealed only to an authorised WordPress administrator on request; historical codes stored only as hashes cannot be recovered. Sessions expire automatically, and administration access is limited through WordPress permissions. Catalogue data is not sent to Google Analytics. A parent or legal representative may use the contact details on this page to request access, correction, deletion or other rights.

Curriculum, PDFs and catalogue statistics

The catalogue profile includes the assigned programme (Scratch or Web Design). It determines the displayed PDF, applicable missions and totals used for progress. Automatic statistics are calculated exclusively from active badges applicable to the child’s programme; manual adjustments are identified separately in the administration area. The PDF is served only after the private session is verified, with indexing and caching disabled and without a download button in the interface. As with any document visible on a device, technical copying cannot be prevented absolutely. Catalogue pages and the document do not load Google Analytics. A parent or legal representative may use the contact details on this page to request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or further information.

Google Analytics and Search Console

Google Analytics is not active at this time. If it is configured in the admin area, the tag will load only after express consent for the analytics category.

Data, purpose and recipients

After consent, Google Analytics may measure visited pages, interactions, sessions, browser and device type and approximate location. The provider is Google Ireland Limited and its entities/processors. The theme disables advertising signals and ad personalisation and intentionally sends no names, contact details or catalogue information.

Retention and cookies

The declared retention period for user-level and event-level data is 2 months and must match the GA4 property setting. The theme technically limits _ga and _ga_<container> cookies to 180 days. The consent preference is kept for 180 days.

Withdrawing consent

Consent may be refused or withdrawn at any time from the “Cookie preferences” button. On withdrawal, the theme stops measurement and removes accessible Analytics cookies from this domain. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.

Google Search Console

Search Console verification uses only a technical meta tag in the page header. It does not install cookies or track visitor behaviour.
